This is an in-person class ~1 1/2 hours in length. You will learn how to use discard in your cooking/baking, be able to sample discard "goodies", and receive a copy of Diane's new discard cookbook, Farmhouse Sourdough | 40 Sourdough Discard Recipes
In this class you will learn:
· The difference between sourdough starter, levain, and discard
· How to store sourdough discard
· Different “types” of discard
· Benefits of discard in recipes
· How to use discard in recipes
· How to convert almost any recipe to a discard recipe
The class fee includes:
· Samples of discard main dishes, breakfasts, pastries, cookies and more
· A copy of Diane’s new cookbook, Farmhouse Sourdough | 40 Sourdough Discard Recipes
This class is limited to 10 students and the cost is $50 per person.
